Cook with History in Your Hands.

Many of our guests ask us:

"Where can I buy a good Japanese knife?"

or

"I want to go to Aritsugu, but I don't know which one to pick."

Inspired by you, we decided to make our cooking class a "Sanctuary for Knife Lovers."

We have stocked our kitchen with 7 different authentic Aritsugu knives

from professional Chef's knives to traditional Japanese vegetables knives.

Don't just look at them in a display case.

Cut ingredients, feel the sharpness, and find the perfect match for your hand.

"Read our blog:

Why we recommend testing Aritsugu knives before buying."

Why Test-Drive with Us?

(The "Smart" Shopping Strategy)

1. Avoid the Rush & Pressure

The Aritsugu shop in Nishiki Market is world-famous.

It is always crowded with tourists,

and you often have to wait a long time just to speak to staff.

It is hard to decide calmly in that chaos.

2. Don't Make Your Partner Wait

If you are passionate about knives but your partner is not,

dragging them to a crowded shop for an hour can be stressful for both of you.

Solution:

At our class, you can enjoy cooking together.

While you test the knives during the lesson,

your partner is having fun making Ramen or Sushi.

No waiting, no stress.

Everyone is happy!

3. "Real" Cutting Experience

In a shop, you might only cut a piece of paper.

In our class, you cut fresh vegetables and fish.

You will truly understand the "soul" of the knife.
